Department of Telugu celebrated Telugu Basha Dinotsavam on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Gidugu Ramamurthy Garu, a renowned scholar and champion of the Telugu language. The event was held under the leadership of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the Telugu language and culture. Various cultural activities, including speeches, poetry recitations, and traditional performances, were conducted, highlighting the rich literary heritage of Telugu. The event inspired students and staff to continue their efforts in keeping the legacy of Telugu language alive. Lecturer in Telugu Dr.G.Venkata Ramana coordinated the event.
Dr.G.Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu was also invited as the Chief-Guest for Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam in SCIM government Degree College, Tanuku.
