On 18th September 2024, the institution’s Science Association organized activities to mark “World Ozone Day,” with the theme “Ozone for Life.” The event focused on raising awareness about the crucial role the ozone layer plays in protecting life on Earth. In the opening remarks, Principal Dr.P.Nirmala Kumari highlighted the significance of preserving the ozone layer for future generations and the importance of sustainability in environmental conservation.
IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, Lecturer in Chemistry Sri NVNB Srinivasarao, Lecturer in Physics Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar, Lecturer in Chemistry Sk. Moin Ansari, and Lecturer in Zoology Sk. Parveen participated in the event. Various competitions were conducted by the Science departments to engage students and spread awareness. The Department of Physics hosted a National Level Online Quiz, Chemistry organized a Poster Presentation, Botany conducted a PPT Presentation, and Zoology held an Essay Writing competition.
Prizes were awarded to students for their excellent performances in these activities, making the event a resounding success in promoting environmental consciousness.
