Organized free dental check-up and treatment camp as a part of SWATCHATA HI SEVA by the Unit I of National Service Scheme (NSS) of the college in association with Inclusive Center of the college under the guidance of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college with the partnership of VISHNU DENTAL COLLEGE, BHIMAVARAM. A group of 15 dental doctors led by Dr. K. S. Chaitanya Ram, MDS, Vishnu Dental Hospital, Bhimavaram screened all the I, II and III year students (220) and treated 115 students who were identified by some dental problems. They offered cleaning, scaling, filling and tooth extractions for free and severe problems like root canal, extraction of wisdom teeth, clips etc. were referred to the hospital. The camp was held from 10:00 am to 5 pm in the seminar hall. The head of the team Dr. K. S. Chaitanya Ram was felicitated by the Principal as a token of gratitude at the end of the program. Local leaders K. Surendra Kumar Raju, Ch. Satyanarayana Raju and N. Sriram visited the camp, applauded the doctor’s team for giving free services and appreciated the principal for initiating such programs which benefited the student community.
