Valmiki Jayanti was observed with great devotion and enthusiasm, honoring the revered sage and poet Maharshi Valmiki, the author of the epic Ramayana. The event took place on the college premises, where students, faculty, and staff came together to pay homage to the legendary sage whose contributions to Indian literature and spiritual teachings remain timeless.

Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari presided over the event and addressed the gathering, highlighting the life and teachings of Maharshi Valmiki. She emphasized Valmiki’s journey from a hunter to a sage and how his transformation stands as a symbol of inner strength and the power of knowledge. Valmiki’s Ramayana, she noted, is not just a literary masterpiece but also a guide to righteous living and ethical conduct. Sri P.Bhaskararao, Lecturer in History coordinated the event. Vice-Principal Sri P.Madhu Raju, IQAC Coordinator Dr.Ch.Chaitanya, other teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the event.

Students participated in various cultural activities, including recitations and speeches focusing on Valmiki’s teachings and the relevance of the Ramayana in contemporary society. The celebration aimed to inspire the students to imbibe the values of righteousness, compassion, and dedication that Valmiki embodied.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by one of the faculty members, who reiterated the importance of remembering such great figures in history. Sweets were distributed, and the participants left the event with a renewed sense of respect for Indian culture and heritage.

The celebration of Valmiki Jayanti served as a reminder of the sage’s profound influence on Indian philosophy, literature, and moral values, encouraging students to follow the path of truth and virtue in their lives.
