NSS Units 1 & 2 of Government Degree College (GDC) Ganapavaram proudly celebrated National Unity Day from October 28 to October 31, 2024, with a series of activities fostering the spirit of unity and patriotism.
The celebrations began on October 28 with the Unity Pledge, where students and staff took an oath to uphold the values of national integrity and solidarity. On October 29, an Essay Writing Competition was held, inviting students to express their thoughts on the importance of unity in diversity.
On October 30, students participated enthusiastically in the 1K Run – RUN FOR UNITY, showcasing their commitment to national harmony. NSS Units 1 & 2, under the guidance of NSS Coordinators Dr. G. Venkata Ramana and Sri P. Bhaskararao, played a pivotal role in organizing these events.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari praised the active involvement of students and emphasized the importance of unity in strengthening the nation. Vice Principal Sri P. Madhu Raju and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya extended their support throughout the celebrations, highlighting the value of such events in building a strong, united community.
