The Women Empowerment Cell of GDC Ganapavaram observed the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on 25.11.2024 by organizing a Wall Poster Release event. The program focused on the United Nations theme “Unite to End Violence Against Women.”
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari unveiled the wall poster, emphasizing the collective responsibility to eliminate violence against women and create a safe and equitable society. Vice Principal Sri P. Madhu Raju highlighted the significance of education in empowering women and fostering awareness. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya encouraged students to actively engage in initiatives promoting gender equality, while Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell, spoke about the ongoing challenges faced by women and the role of such programs in addressing these issues.
Faculty members and students participated with enthusiasm, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to promoting women’s rights and safety. The Wall Poster Release event served as a strong call to action to unite against violence and work toward a more inclusive society.
