National Pollution Prevention Day-02.12.2024

The Department of Chemistry conducted an awareness program on the eradication of single-use plastic from the campus, aimed at promoting environmental sustainability. As part of the event, students delivered insightful PowerPoint presentations highlighting the harmful effects of single-use plastics and sustainable alternatives.

Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari inaugurated the program, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in creating a plastic-free campus. Vice Principal Sri P. Madhu Raju addressed the students, encouraging them to lead by example in adopting eco-friendly practices.

The program was coordinated by Chemistry Lecturers Sri NVNB Srinivasarao and Sri Shaik Ansari, who provided guidance and support to the students in their research and presentations.

The event successfully raised awareness among the campus community and reiterated the college’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
