GDC Ganapavaram observed the Birth Anniversary of Sri Chintalapati Varaprasada Murthy Raju Garu on 16.12.2024, the visionary founder of the college and a philanthropist whose contributions to education and public welfare have left an indelible mark on society.
The program was inaugurated by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who highlighted the founder’s unparalleled commitment to education and rural development. Vice Principal Sri P. Madhu Raju emphasized the importance of remembering and following the values exemplified by Sri Chintalapati Varaprasada Murthy Raju Garu. Several alumni and local political leaders attended the event, paying homage to the great leader and sharing their memories and experiences associated with his initiatives.

As part of the observance, a group of students, led by Sri P. Bhaskararao, Lecturer in History, visited the Parliament Bhavan constructed by him in Chinanindrakolanu. The visit provided students with insights into his architectural contributions and vision for public infrastructure.
The program concluded with a collective resolve to uphold the values and ideals of the founder, ensuring that his legacy continues to inspire future generations.
