GDC Ganapavaram celebrated National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2024 to honor the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The event was graced by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Vice Principal Sri P. Madhu Raju, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, and Women Empowerment Cell Coordinator Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, along with faculty and students.
Dr. G. Sarada Devi, Lecturer in Mathematics, delivered an engaging session on Ramanujan’s contributions to mathematics, inspiring students to explore the beauty and importance of mathematical concepts.
The event included interactive activities, such as a math quiz and problem-solving challenges, to encourage analytical thinking among students. The celebrations highlighted the significance of mathematics in shaping scientific and technological advancements, emphasizing its role in everyday life.
