As part of a health initiative, Albendazole deworming tablets were distributed to students at Government Degree College, Ganapavaram on 07.02.2025, by the local Primary Health Centre (PHC) doctors and staff. This program aimed to improve student health by preventing intestinal infections and promoting overall well-being.
The event was conducted under the supervision of Red Ribbon Club Coordinator Sri S. Venkanna Babu, Lecturer in Commerce. Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari appreciated the efforts of the PHC team in supporting student health and emphasized the importance of regular deworming for better academic performance. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya and faculty members were also present, ensuring the smooth execution of the initiative.
Students actively participated in the program, acknowledging the significance of deworming in maintaining good health. The college remains committed to organizing such health awareness activities in collaboration with local health authorities.
