An awareness rally on drugs and drug abuse was organized on 10-03-2025 at Ganapavaram by I, II Year students of the college to educate people about the harmful effects of drug consumption and addiction. The rally aimed to spread awareness among youth and the community about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers. Participants carried placards and banners with anti-drug messages such as “Say No to Drugs” and “Drugs End All Dreams (DEAD), Drugs is Suicide, Paid in instalments” etc. The rally proceeded through key locations in the city/town, raising slogans and distributing informative pamphlets.
The program successfully spread crucial information about drug abuse prevention and encouraged individuals to take a firm stand against substance abuse. The event also motivated several young participants to pledge for a drug-free life.
The program was organized by EAGLE Club, Dept of Chemistry and Dept of Social Work under the able guidance of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari. Teaching, non-teaching staff along with students participated in the event.
