In compliance with the instructions of the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, the birth anniversary of Sri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, was observed as a State Function on 28th May 2025 at GDC Ganapavaram.
The program began with floral tributes to the portrait of Sri N.T. Rama Rao, recognizing his immense contributions to Andhra Pradesh politics, cinema, and social welfare. Faculty members and students gathered to honor his legacy as a visionary leader and cultural icon.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari addressed the gathering, highlighting NTR’s impactful leadership, welfare schemes for the poor, and his role in shaping the identity of Telugu people.
As part of the observance, an essay writing competition was conducted on the topic “The Life and Legacy of N.T. Rama Rao”, encouraging students to explore and express their understanding of his contributions to society. Students participated actively and shared inspiring thoughts through their essays.
The program concluded with reflections by faculty and students, reaffirming their respect and admiration for the legendary leader.
