Government Degree College, Ganapavaram solemnly observed the 126th Birth Anniversary of revolutionary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju on 4th July 2025, under the aegis of NSS Units I & II.
Floral tributes were paid to the legendary leader, followed by speeches by students and staff emphasizing his valor, leadership, and pivotal role in mobilizing tribal resistance during India’s freedom struggle.
The event was coordinated by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, NSS Unit-I Programme Officer, and Sri Sk. Ansari, NSS Unit-II Programme Officer. NSS volunteers enthusiastically participated in remembering and honoring the ideals of Alluri.
The program witnessed the presence of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, along with faculty, staff, and students.
