As part of the nationwide Youth for Social Impact (YFSI) initiative, our college successfully implemented a 7-day program aimed at encouraging students to develop innovative solutions to real-world societal challenges. The program was structured to enhance students’ social awareness, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The program was carried out under the dynamic coordination of Sri Ch. Rajababu, Lecturer in English, and Sri P. Bhaskararao, Lecturer in History, with the constant encouragement of Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya.
The implementation began with an orientation session (Day 0) where students were introduced to the objectives, benefits, and registration process of the YFSI program. On Day 1, students registered themselves on the official YFSI portal.
Over the next few days, students engaged with the online learning modules. On Day 2, they completed Modules 1 and 2, followed by team discussions. On Day 3, they progressed to Modules 3 and 4, again engaging in collaborative reflections. Day 4 focused on Modules 5 and 6, concluding the learning segment of the program.
On Day 5, students took a post-assessment to consolidate their learning and began ideating on practical solutions. Day 6 was dedicated to team brainstorming, during which students worked together to shape their ideas into structured proposals. Finally, on Day 7, students submitted their innovative proposals through the YFSI portal.
This program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased critical thinking, creativity, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
