Blood Donation Camp at GDC Ganapavaram-12.08.2025

On 12.08.2025, a Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized at Sri Chintalapati Varaprasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Eluru. The program was jointly conducted by the Red Ribbon Club and NSS Units I & II, with the objective of promoting voluntary blood donation and creating awareness among students about its importance in saving lives.

The camp was coordinated by RRC Coordinator Sri S. Venkanna Babu, NSS Unit I Program Officer Dr. D. G. Venkata Ramana, and NSS Unit II Program Officer Sri Sk. Ansari. Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari and Vice-Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani inaugurated the event and motivated students to come forward for this noble cause.

Medical staff from the Indian Red Cross Society, Eluru, facilitated the collection and storage of blood, ensuring all necessary health and safety protocols were followed. Student volunteers actively assisted in the smooth conduct of the camp. A total of 16 students donated blood during the program, reflecting the college’s commitment to fostering social responsibility and humanitarian values among its learners.

The event concluded with appreciation certificates being presented to all the donors, acknowledging their contribution towards saving lives.
