The NSS Units I & II and the Department of Social Work, in association with The Good Lamp Organization, Tadepalligudem, jointly organized an awareness program on HIV/AIDS at Sri Chintalapati Varaparasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, on 23.08.2025 at 3:00 PM.
The session was chaired by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized the importance of awareness and responsible behavior in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Dr. D. S. Sukumar, Project Director of The Good Lamp Organization, addressed the gathering and sensitized the students about the causes, prevention, and social implications of HIV/AIDS. His insightful talk motivated students to become informed advocates for health and social awareness in their communities.
Faculty members, NSS volunteers, and students actively participated, making the program a meaningful step toward building a healthier and more informed society.
