Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, celebrated National Sports Day on 29.08.2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player and a symbol of sporting excellence.
The event was graced by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari and Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani. Smt. A. Swathi, Lecturer in Physical Education, coordinated the activities and encouraged students to actively participate in sports for their overall development and fitness.
Various games and competitions were organized for students as part of the celebration, and prizes were awarded to the winners to recognize their talent and enthusiasm.
