Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, successfully organized a one-day workshop on “Medical Coding and Career Opportunities” on 03 September 2025 for science students. The event was jointly organized by the Thought Flows Organization, Science Association, and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college.
The workshop was inaugurated by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari (Chairperson), with Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani (Co-Chairperson), IQAC Coordinator Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar (Convener), and Sri N.V.N.B. Srinivasa Rao (Co-Convener) coordinating the program. Dr. Ch. Chaitanya served as the Organizing Secretary.
Resource persons Ms. Sabiha (Trainer, Thought Flows) and Ms. Supraja (HR Manager) highlighted the growing global demand for skilled professionals in medical coding and explained how students can build successful careers in healthcare and allied industries.
Around 100 students from nearby government degree colleges including Pentapadu, Narayanapuram, Eluru, Jangareddygudem, Bhimavaram, and Ganapavaram participated. Faculty and staff members worked actively to ensure the success of the event.
In her concluding remarks, Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari emphasized that “workshops like this bridge the gap between academics and industry, empowering students with the knowledge and confidence to explore emerging career paths.”
