The Youth Red Cross (YRC) Society of SCHVPMR Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, organized a Tree Plantation Programme and AYURVEDA DAY in collaboration with the SASA and Eco Club, Department of Botany as part of YRC activities for the academic year 2025–26. The programme was held under the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who presided as the President of the event. Along with Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani and IQAC Coordinator Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar.
The event was coordinated by YRCS Coordinator Ch. Rajababu, along with active support from members S. Venkannababu, P.Bala Manikanta, SASA Coordinator Dr.G V Venaka Rao and Eco Club Coordinator Dr. Sk. Parveen and Dr. Ch. Chaitanya from the Department of Botany. A large number of students from the Different Departments enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari appreciated the efforts of YRC in promoting environmental awareness and student participation.
The plantation drive emphasized the importance of greenery and environmental protection, motivating students to contribute towards sustainable living.
