The Department of History and the Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit of S.CH.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, jointly celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi on 2nd October 2025. On this occasion, YRC volunteers distributed fruits to the underprivileged in the Ganapavaram market area, spreading the message of service and compassion.
Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, presided over the program and recalled the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal, and Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, appreciated the initiative. The activity was coordinated by Sri Ch. Rajababu, YRC Convener, with the support of YRC members Sri S. Venkanna Babu and Sri P. Bhaskara Rao, Lecturer in History.
