S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27th October to 2nd November 2025, with the national theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.” The objective of the programme was to promote awareness on integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct among students and staff.
Highlights of the Week:
- 30.10.2025 — Essay Writing Competition:
Students wrote insightful essays on the importance of vigilance, ethical responsibility, and anti-corruption practices, reflecting their understanding of the theme. - 31.10.2025 — Pledge and Rally on Vigilance Awareness:
Faculty and students took the Integrity Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to honesty and transparency. A rally was also organized in and around the campus to create awareness among the public about the need for vigilance and accountability in daily life. - 31.10.2025 — Slogan Writing Competition:
Students created powerful and creative slogans highlighting honesty, responsibility, and corruption-free governance. - 01.11.2025 — Poster Presentation & Debate Competition:
Participants displayed posters and engaged in a debate on promoting ethical governance and strengthening citizen vigilance, demonstrating creativity and critical thinking.
Leadership & Coordination:
Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, appreciated the efforts of faculty and students for actively participating in the week-long observance and emphasized that vigilance should be practiced as a shared moral value in all walks of life. Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal, encouraged students to become responsible citizens by upholding integrity and transparency.
The programme was coordinated by Sri P. Bhaskararao, Lecturer in History, Sri Ch.Rajababu, Lecturer in English and Sri P.Ramesh Babu, Lecturer in Computer Applicaitons.
The observance concluded with a message reaffirming the importance of vigilance, honesty, and collective responsibility in building a transparent and corruption-free society.
