Sri Chintalapati Varaprasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed Karthika Vanasamaradhana as per the instructions of the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education and the Environment, Forest, Science & Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The program was held on 17th November 2025 (Last Karthika Monday) at 11:00 AM in front of the labs, with the objective of strengthening the bond between people and nature and promoting environmental consciousness in alignment with Mission Haritha Andhra Pradesh.
The activity was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, and coordinated by the college staff. Teaching and non-teaching staff, along with first-year students, participated in the traditional Vana Bhojanam and nature-based interaction. Students were encouraged to bring mats and sit on the grass to connect with nature in a meaningful way.
Faculty mentors ensured active participation of all first-year students.
The event successfully created awareness about environmental conservation and traditional ecological practices during Karthika Masam. 🌱✨
