The Birth Anniversary of the Founder of the college Sri Chintalapati Vara Prasada Murthy Raju garu was observed with due respect and solemnity. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari garu, who highlighted the founder’s vision, sacrifice, and enduring contribution to higher education.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani garu addressed the gathering and emphasized the relevance of the founder’s ideals in nurturing responsible citizenship and value-based education among students.
As part of the birth anniversary celebrations, a plantation programme was organized by Lions Club member Sri Konisetti Ganesh garu, symbolizing environmental responsibility and sustainable development. The programme witnessed the presence of Lions Club Ex-District Governor Sri Epuri Satyanarayana garu, CPDC members Sri Soorapuneni Satyanarayanaraju garu and Sri Nadipalli Sriram garu, and Sri Nandhyala Ramalingaraju garu, a respected well-wisher of the college from the local community, whose continued support to academic and social initiatives was appreciatively acknowledged.
In continuation of the birth anniversary observance, Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani garu, IQAC Coordinator Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar garu, NSS Programme Officer–I Dr. G. Venkata Ramana garu, and Office Senior Assistant Sri K. V. R. Subbaraju garu visited Gandhi Bhavan, Pedanindrakolanu, where floral tributes were paid to the founder, recalling his noble ideals, commitment to public service, and dedication to social upliftment.
The programme served as a fitting tribute to the founder by integrating remembrance, environmental consciousness, and social responsibility, inspiring students to emulate his values of service, integrity, and leadership.
