Semi-Christmas celebrations were joyfully observed on 22 December 2025 at Sri Chintalapati Vara Prasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, creating a festive and harmonious atmosphere on the campus. The programme was conducted in the Seminar Hall at 3:00 PM with the participation of teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students.
The event was organized as part of the institutional activities with the involvement of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), fostering values of unity, joy, and mutual respect among students from diverse backgrounds.
The programme was presided over by College Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who conveyed Christmas greetings and emphasized the significance of love, peace, compassion, and sharing in student life. She appreciated the efforts of the organizers for promoting cultural harmony through such celebrations.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani extended her greetings to the students and highlighted the importance of celebrating festivals as a means of strengthening social bonding and moral values among youth.
The celebrations were sponsored by Sri Ch. Rajababu, Lecturer in English, who generously arranged cake cutting and refreshments for students. The programme was jointly organized by Sri Ch. Rajababu, Dr. G. Venkata Rao, Lecturer in Social Work, and Junior Assistant Sri P. Devadanam, with active support from faculty members.
Students enthusiastically participated in the celebrations, making the event lively and memorable. The programme concluded with the distribution of cake and refreshments, spreading joy and festive cheer across the campus.
The Semi-Christmas celebration stood as a meaningful occasion that reinforced the spirit of togetherness and cultural inclusivity within the college community.
