Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed “Handful of Rice Day” on 30.12.2025 with the objective of inculcating the values of sharing, compassion, and social responsibility among students.
The programme was conducted under the able leadership of the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of community-oriented activities in nurturing socially responsible citizens.
The activity was coordinated by Smt. B. Rani Durga, Lecturer in Commerce, with active participation from students. Rice collected during the programme was distributed to the needy, reflecting the institution’s commitment to social service.
The programme was conducted in coordination with the IQAC Coordinator, ensuring adherence to institutional quality standards.
