A PEACE RALLY is organized today by ‘Maanavatha’, an NGO from Ganapavaram, in association with SCHVPMR Govt. Degree College and other educational institutions in Ganapavaram, with a view to promoting peace, plastic-free environment & plantation in the villages. Sri P. Vasubabu, MLA, Unguturu Constituency and other leaders participated and addressed the rally. Dr. G. Venkatrao from the Dept. of Social work and about 55 UG students from the college actively participated in the rally which started from the degree college and ended at the Police Island. Towards the end, all the participants formed a human chain to show solidarity.
