Today the Department of Botany and Women Empowerment Cell of our college jointly organized an extension program “Awareness on Nutritious Diet for Girls & Ill Effects of Malnutrition” to the students of ZPPH School for girls, Ganapavaram. Ten of our college students viz:
V Baby Sirisha, K. Devika, M Rupa Sri and M Krishna Priya from BZC,
D. Sri Satya Durga Bhavani, M. Aparanjitha, K. Durga, J. Sravani from II BCOM,
K. Manoja Manjunadeswari & P. Amulya from II MPCS
detailed the Healthy Diet, Ideal Portions, Ill Effects of Unbalanced Diet etc. with a power point presentation under the guidance of Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, Lecturer in Botany & Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Lecturer in Economics and the Convener of Women Empowerment Cell. The session went off well; the students got motivated to take care of their diet and they gave a very positive feedback on the session.
