National Girl Child Day is observed in the institution on 24.01.2024 to raise awareness about the rights and importance of the girl child in society. It aims to promote gender equality, eradicate discrimination against girls, and highlight the need for their education and well-being. Principal Dr.P.Nirmala Kumari reminded the students that it is an opportune moment to reflect on the significance of this occasion and reaffirm our commitment to empowering and uplifting our young girls. Principal also spoke on the status of girls in education, healthcare, and nutrition etc. and suggested the gathering to take a role in equalizing the society. Women Empowerment Cell and NSS units of the college organized the program. Faculty and 65 students participated in the program.
