Department of Mathematics celebrated pi day 10 am to 11 am on 14.03.2024. Pi Day is an annual celebration commemorating the mathematical constant π (pi), which represents the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. Observed on March 14th (3/14) each year, Pi Day holds significance not only for mathematicians and scientists but also for enthusiasts worldwide. One student, Manjusri, talked about the importance of Pi Day and the history of pi as well. On this occasion, a quiz program was conducted for students in two groups. The team from Group A emerged as the winners of the quiz program.
