The Department of Economics organized a Student Talk on the topic “Impact of the New Economic Policy on India” in the context of Atma Nirbhar Bharat and De-Globalization in our country. Students were advised to search for topics on the internet and write down important points on the related themes. Four students attempted to analyze the points regarding the reforms brought through the new economic policy in our system, its positive and negative impacts on our country in economic, social, and cultural aspects, the concept of deglobalization, and the idea of Atma Nirbhar Bharat, etc., in the session. They focused mostly on economic aspects. The facilitator detailed the impact at the end of the session. Dr.K.Swarupa Rani, Lecturer in Economics coordinated the event.
