A Student Seminar was organized on 10.04.24 by the department of English under the coordination of Dr. T. Akkiraju for I year BSc. students on the topic “Indian English Authors”. This event was conducted in online mode so as to give a new experience of PP presentation to the students. Nine pairs of students made their presentations on well-known authors like RK Narayan, Premchand, Rajagopala Chari, Shashi Deshpande, AK Ramanujan etc. Faculty Dr. K. Swarupa Rani and Smt. P. Balamanikantha were present throughout the event assessing the students’ performance in the Seminar. Based on their report, Pratima and Munnisha bagged first place with 18/20, Yashwanth Kumar got second place with 17/20 and third place was shared by four teams with 14/20 each. They were all presented gifts by Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal of the College. On the whole, 42 students participated in the event.
