Government Degree College, Ganapavaram solemnly observed Ambedkar Jayanthi on 14th April 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice.
As part of the celebrations, NSS Unit–II undertook a noble initiative by distributing refreshment kits to underprivileged children in the local community, reflecting Dr. Ambedkar’s vision of equality and compassion. This act of service aimed to instill the values of empathy and inclusiveness among the students.
The event was graced by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who addressed the gathering and spoke about the invaluable contributions of Dr. Ambedkar in building a just and democratic India. Madam emphasized the importance of upholding his ideals in contemporary times.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, and NSS-II Programme Officer Sri P. Bhaskararao also participated. Faculty members and students enthusiastically joined the program, making it a meaningful tribute to the great visionary.
