The Department of Commerce of S. Ch. V. P. M. R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram organized an Awareness Programme on Banking Services on 08 December 2025 at the college Smart Room.
Sri S. Ravi Kumar, Branch Manager, State Bank of India (SBI), Undi Road, Ganapavaram, acted as the Resource Person for the session.
He delivered an informative talk covering essential financial topics such as:
- Bank Accounting Basics
- Function and Use of ATM Cards
- Importance and Application Process of PAN Card
- Bank Mobile Applications and Digital Transactions
- Safe Banking Practices
The session helped students gain practical understanding of banking procedures and enhanced their financial literacy.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari appreciated the Commerce Department for organizing a student-centric and useful programme. Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, also encouraged students to make use of such awareness activities.
The programme was coordinated by Smt. B. Ranidurga, Lecturer in Commerce, and Sri S. Venkanna Babu, Lecturer in Commerce, who assisted in the smooth conduct of the event.
Students from various departments actively participated and benefited from the interactive session.
