One of the best practices of the Economics Department is Current Issues: Dig & Discuss. On 22.07.2023
the Dept. organized Session 13 of Current Issues : Dig and Discuss (CID) on the topic “INDUSTRY 4.0 – IMPACT ON INDIAN ECONOMY”. The students of II BA prepared a write-up on the components of Industry 4.0, its positive and negative impact on the Indian economy. They discussed the development of the Indian manufacturing sector with advanced technology brought about by the Industry 4.0 technologies, employment potential of Industry 4.0, need of skilling the resources, development of international competitiveness, displacement of employees because of skill gap etc.
