NSS Special Camp@KOTTAPALLI – Day 7-29.11.2025

The NSS Unit–I of S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram successfully concluded the 7-Day NSS Special Camp at Kottapalli Village on 29 November 2025 with the participation of 50 NSS Student Volunteers. The camp was conducted under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. G. Venkata Ramana from 23 to 29 November 2025.

Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari expressed her appreciation for the volunteers who actively participated in all community service activities during the camp. Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani encouraged the students to carry forward the values of service, discipline, and social responsibility.


Forenoon Session: Cultural Programmes

The final day of the camp began with Cultural Performances by NSS volunteers.
Students presented:

  • Motivational songs
  • Skits on social issues
  • Folk dances
  • Awareness-based cultural items (Helmet Awareness also conducted)

These activities reflected the learning, teamwork, and social awareness gained throughout the seven days of the camp. Villagers of Kottapalli enjoyed and appreciated the performances by the students.


Valedictory Function

The Valedictory Ceremony marked the conclusion of the 7-day NSS Special Camp.

The chief guests congratulated all the volunteers for their active involvement in the camp and appreciated the services rendered to the village.
They stated that NSS Special Camps bring positive social change, develop service-mindedness among youth, and strengthen village–college relationships.

NSS Programme Officer Dr. G. Venkata Ramana presented a detailed report of all 7 days:

  • Day 1: Inauguration, orientation, cleanliness programme
  • Day 2: Clean & Green and awareness on seasonal diseases
  • Day 3: Digital transactions and cyber security awareness
  • Day 4: Awareness on child education, child marriage, child nutrition
  • Day 5: Plantation of 100 saplings in the village
  • Day 6: Medical Camp, Drug Abuse & Social Media Awareness
  • Day 7: Cultural Programmes & Valedictory

He thanked the villagers, panchayat officials, faculty, and student volunteers for their cooperation.
