S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram solemnly observed the death anniversary of Sri Chintalapati Varaprasada Murthy Raju Garu, the great philanthropist and founder whose name the college proudly bears.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari paid rich tributes to the visionary leader, recalling his invaluable contributions as a Gandhian, educationist, and humanitarian who dedicated his life to promoting education and social welfare in the region. Floral tributes were offered to his statue on the college premises.
The programme was attended by Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, IQAC Coordinator Sri K.V. Ganesh Kumar, NSS Unit–I Programme Officer Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Sri N.V.N.B. Srinivasa Rao, Dr. Ch. Anuradha, Smt. Bala Manikanta, local dignitaries Sri Ramalinga Raju and Sri Pallapotu Srinivasa Rao, along with teaching, non-teaching staff, and students.
The college community collectively paid homage to the noble soul who laid the foundation for higher education and social development in Ganapavaram.
