An Educational Field Trip to Vijayawada was organized by S. Ch. V. P. M. R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram on 07 January 2026 for the benefit of students.
A total of 131 students and 16 staff members participated in the programme, travelling in three buses. The trip aimed at providing experiential learning, encouraging reading habits, and creating awareness on social and national values.
During the visit, students explored Bhavani Island, Vijayawada, attended the 36th Vijayawada Book Festival at IGMC Stadium, and visited the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Statue, gaining academic exposure and cultural insight.
The programme was facilitated with the encouragement of the Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who emphasized the importance of field-based learning in holistic student development. The trip was conducted in a safe and well-organized manner with active support from the accompanying staff.
The educational field trip proved to be enriching and informative, offering students valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom.
