The Department of Telugu undertook a study project on the different characters in Mahabharata as part of the Continuous Internal Assessment. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the epic’s personalities and their multifaceted significance in literature, ethics, and philosophy.
The project was guided by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu, who encouraged students to delve into the complexities of Mahabharata’s characters and their relevance in contemporary times.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari appreciated the innovative approach of the Telugu Department in combining academic assessment with cultural and ethical learning. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya highlighted the importance of such projects in fostering critical thinking and creativity among students.
Students actively participated in this endeavor, presenting their insights and analyses on various characters in the Mahabharata, thereby enriching their literary and ethical perspectives.
The project reflects the college’s commitment to blending traditional knowledge with modern educational practices to provide holistic learning experiences.
