The Department of Chemistry and Department of Botany jointly organized an educational field trip to Kadiyam, renowned for its vast nurseries and floriculture industry. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to plant cultivation, soil chemistry, and sustainable agricultural practices.
The field trip was led by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, accompanied by Sri NVNB Srinivasarao, Lecturer in Chemistry, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, Lecturer in Telugu and Record Assistant Smt. Lakshmi Kumari. A total of 17 enthusiastic students participated in the visit, gaining valuable insights into the chemical aspects of plant growth, fertilizers, and nursery management. This hands-on learning experience enriched their understanding of applied chemistry in agriculture and environmental sustainability.
