As a part of extension activities by the college, 4K Run event was conducted today under Fit India Abhiyaan. The principal of the college Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari started the Run from the college and IQAC Coordinator Dr. T. Akkiraju spoke about fitness of body, mind and word. The event was organized by NSS UNIT I & II POs Dr. G.Venkata Ramana and Mr. P. Bhaskar Rao in association with the department of Physical Education, and I, II, III B.A, B.COM (CA) B. Sc students ran for about 4 kms in Ganapavaram. The students have given slogans – Run towards Light & Leave behind Darkness – creating awareness among the public about the benefits of fitness.
