On 30th September 2024, GDC Ganapavaram warmly welcomed the newly admitted students of the 2024-25 batch with a grand Freshers’ Day celebration. Principal, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, in her address, encouraged the students to make full use of the opportunities offered by the college and to uphold discipline, dedication, and ethics in their academic pursuits.
The event was graced by Ganapavaram Village Panchayat Sarpanch, Smt. Moora Alankaram, as the Chief Guest, who addressed the students and advised them to use social media only for educational purposes. The event was also attended by special guests, including Sri Kusampudi Surendra Kumar Raju, President of the local TDP, and Sri Thota Srinu, President of the town’s Jana Sena party.
Former CPDC Members, Sri Nadipalli Sriram and Sri Chintalapati Satyanarayana Raju, attended as honorary guests and generously donated Rs. 20,000 towards meals for the Freshers’ Day celebrations. Additionally, college alumnus and Gunaparru MPP School Teacher, Sri D. Satyanarayana, donated Rs. 10,000 for the development of the college. Local leaders, Sri Ganta Annavaram and Sri E. Srinu, also attended and addressed the students, offering valuable insights.
Vice Principal, Sri P. Madhu Raju, extended a warm welcome to the students, assuring them that the college would work with dedication towards their holistic development. IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Ch. Chaitanya, emphasized the importance of quality education and encouraged students to participate in various academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities to enhance their learning experience. Senior faculty members, including Dr. T. Akkiraju and Sri NVNB Srinivasarao, along with other teaching and non-teaching staff, conveyed their best wishes to the freshers.
The event featured cultural performances, games, and interactive sessions, making it a memorable and exciting start for the new students.
