An Awareness Program on drug abuse and illicit trafficking was organized in the college by the Department of Chemistry today. At the outset, Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal urged the students to be aware of the ill effects of drug abuse and be cautious about human trafficking. Later, Sri NVNV Srinivas Rao, Lecturer in Chemistry presented a PPT on various forms of drug abuse in order to enlighten the students on the issue. About 50 students and all the faculty participated in the session.
