The Department of Botany conducted a class room awareness program on International Coconut Day. II BSC BZC students Baby Sirisha and Krishna Priya presented a ppt on the importance of World Coconut Day. Lahari and Susmitha presented posters on the economic uses of coconuts. Rukmini, Padma, Lahari, Sushi and Candhya made a few coconut eatables and Shiva Krishna, Nagendra and Elisha sponsored a coconut sapling and coconut water.
