International Human Rights Day Observed-10.12.2025

Sri Chintalapati Varaprasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed International Human Rights Day under the auspices of the Department of History.

College Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who presided over the programme, stated that the United Nations declared December 10 as International Human Rights Day in 1948, and since then the day has been observed worldwide to uphold and respect the rights of every individual.

Vice Principal Dr. K. Swaruparani spoke about the need for human rights in today’s world and the various challenges faced globally in ensuring dignity and equality for all.

History Lecturer Sri P. Bhaskara Rao explained the significance of fundamental rights and their role in protecting individual freedoms.

The event was attended by IQAC Coordinator Sri K. V. Ganesh Kumar, faculty members Sri Ch. Rajababu, Sri K. Giribabu, Sri P. V. Ramesh Babu, along with other teaching and non-teaching staff.

The programme concluded with a collective call to promote awareness, respect, and protection of human rights in daily life.
