A Multi-Specialty Medical Camp was successfully conducted on 24.02.2026 at S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram by Mithra Medicare Hospital, Bhimavaram, in association with the college NSS Units I & II and Youth Red Cross (YRC).
The camp offered medical consultations and basic health screening services in the areas of:
- Gynecology
- Pulmonology
- ENT
- General Medicine
- Ophthalmology
A team of qualified doctors and medical staff led by Sri Ram Charan, Medical Camp In-charge, and supported by Sri Y. Suresh Kumar, Marketing Manager, provided medical services using necessary equipment. Pamphlets, publicity, and hospitality arrangements for doctors and staff were taken care of by Mithra Medicare Hospital.
The college provided required rooms on the ground floor, including a separate room ensuring privacy for gynecology consultations.
Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari stated that such medical camps are highly beneficial in promoting health awareness and preventive care among students.
The programme was organized with the initiative and support of Sri Avanthi Sattibabu Garu, CPDC Secretary, whose encouragement contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the camp.
Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and encouraged students to prioritize their well-being.
A large number of students, teaching, and non-teaching staff availed the medical services. The camp concluded successfully with positive response from the beneficiaries.
