Sri Chintalapati Varaparasada Murthy Raju Government Degree College, Ganapavaram, organized National Deworming Day on 12.08.2025 to administer deworming medication to students as part of a nationwide health initiative. The program aimed to promote the well-being of students and raise awareness about the importance of regular deworming in maintaining good health.
To ensure 100% participation, a Mop-Up Day (MUD) was organized on 20.08.2025 for students who were absent on the main day. The follow-up ensured that all eligible students benefited from the initiative. Snacks were distributed to students who participated in the Mop-Up Day, making the event more engaging and student-friendly.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who appreciated the students for actively participating in the health drive and emphasized the importance of such preventive health measures in improving overall student wellness. The event was coordinated by NSS Unit-II Coordinator, Sri Sk. Ansari, Lecturer in Chemistry, ensuring smooth execution of both days.
This initiative highlighted the college’s commitment to student health and well-being while aligning with national health objectives.
