On the occasion of “National Mathematics Day,” marking the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan, a self-taught mathematical genius, the Department of Mathematics conducted a series of events in the college. On 16.12.23, a puzzle-solving competition was conducted, and 92 students participated in the competition. On 21.12.23, a MATHS MEHENDI competition was conducted, and 9 students participated. On 22.12.23, in the morning session, 64 students attended the national webinar conducted by the Department of Mathematics, GDC, Eluru, and received participation certificates. Students also participated in an online quiz conducted by the Department of Mathematics, Adikavi Nannaya University, Rajamahendravaram. In the afternoon session, a meeting was conducted, chaired by Dr. T. Akkiraju, IQAC Coordinator, and prizes were distributed to all the event winners.
