The S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram observed National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31st October 2025, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
The programme was organized by NSS Unit–I and NSS Unit–II to promote the spirit of unity, integrity, and national integration among students. The event began with the National Unity Pledge, administered to faculty and students, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the nation’s unity and strength.
Following the pledge, a rally was conducted in and around the campus to spread the message of unity and peace. Students actively participated with placards and slogans reflecting Sardar Patel’s vision of a united India.
The event was held under the guidance of Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, Principal, and Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, Vice Principal.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, NSS Unit–I Programme Officer, and Sri Shaik Ansari, NSS Unit–II Programme Officer.
The Principal appreciated the efforts of both NSS units for instilling patriotic values and fostering social harmony among students through such meaningful activities.
