The State NSS Cell, Higher Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has accorded permission to S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram to conduct a 7-day NSS Special Camp for the academic year 2025–26.
As per the official proceedings (C.No.163 5C/NSS-2/2025, dated 07.11.2025), issued by Dr. M. Sudhakar, State NSS Officer, the NSS Unit–I of the college has been sanctioned to conduct the camp at its adopted village, Kottapalli (V), Ganapavaram Mandal, from 23rd November 2025 to 29th November 2025.
Under the leadership and guidance of Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari and Vice Principal Dr. K. Swarupa Rani, the NSS Units of the college plan to organize various community development activities during the camp, including health awareness programmes, Swachh Bharat activities, environmental conservation, literacy and digital awareness drives, and youth empowerment sessions.
The college congratulates Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, NSS Programme Officer (Unit–I) for the sanction of the camp and also appreciates the contributions of Sri Shaik Ansari, NSS Programme Officer (Unit–II) for his continued support and participation in all NSS initiatives of the college.
The NSS Special Camp aims to nurture social responsibility, teamwork, and leadership qualities among students while fostering their commitment to national service and rural development.
