On 24 November 2025, NSS Unit–1 of S.Ch.V.P.M.R. Government Degree College, Ganapavaram conducted Day–2 activities of the ongoing NSS Special Camp at Kottapalli village. The day’s focus was an Awareness Campaign on Seasonal Diseases such as Cholera, Malaria, Typhoid, and Dengue.
Under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Dr. G. Venkata Ramana, NSS volunteers visited households in the village and created awareness among the residents about common symptoms, preventive measures, importance of sanitation, mosquito control, safe drinking water, and early medical attention.
The programme details were shared by Principal Dr. P. Nirmala Kumari, who appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers in carrying forward meaningful community service.
The day’s event featured Sri N.V.N.V. Srinivasarao, Lecturer in Chemistry, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the volunteers, he emphasized the importance of being well-informed about seasonal diseases, understanding early warning signs, and adopting safe hygiene practices to prevent their spread. He encouraged the volunteers to act as health ambassadors in the community.
The program also saw the participation of:

- Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff
- All NSS volunteers (Total: 50; Boys: 15, Girls: 35)
